Subject: If you had $5,000...
Here's a query (and, yes, it's for real):
If you had $5,000.00 (US) to spend on anthropology monographs/books for a
large research library, which books would you buy and why?
The restrictions are no journals or standing orders or microfilm
collections can be purchased with this money. Only books. [And, yes, I've
already bought a facsimile of the Dead Sea Scrolls.] No textbooks.
I would like to build up our physical anthropology collection, but need
some ideas. Can anyone help me with this?
