Thirty or forty years ago I had a publication from the US Gov't Printing
Office which discussed iron furnaces in the colonies. I do not recall it
extending into the Ohio area. There was an iron mine of some sort on my
Grandfather's farm in Jefferson County, Ohio. Good hunting
