Hi Margo,
I have only used an EM38 a few times, I usually prefer the RM15
resistivity meter, so I have little actual experience. R. Berle Clay,
the Kentucky state archaeologist, has used one for years. His email
address is [log in to unmask] Chuck Niquette, Nomi Greber and Rinita
Dalan are also quite experienced with the EM38. Chuck Niquette can be
reached at [log in to unmask] but I don't know if Nomi or Ms. Dalan have
an email address. Their addresses were listed in Archaeologists of the
Americas as:
Nomi Greber Rinita Dalan
17937 Sherrington Rd. 215 Lincoln
Shaker Heights, OH 44122 Edwardsville, IL 62025
Reagrding the proper sample interval, that is really a matter of what
you are trying to find. If you could be more specific as to the goals
of the survey, I could make some suggestions. Feel free to respond to
my home email address.
