Hello,

I'm new on this group, but nevertheless, I am posing a question...

How strong are bees' mandibles? I noticed they can carry quite large
pieces of wax, and they also can drag out dead bees outside the hive.
When they "nibble" on my skin, it sometimes hurts! Are there any
papers describing the force which they can exert with their mandibles?!!

Thanks,
Sojn
