I can say from specific personal experience that sister "Sue Cobey faithful" NWC queens from  Strachan Apiaries do just fine in each of the following locations simultaneously:

a) Manhattan's 5th Ave, overlooking Central Park (USA) between 65th St and 105th St.  (40 degrees North)

b) Ocho Rios, in Jamacia, 25 yards off the beach (18 degrees North)

c) Los Cristianos, on the southwest coast of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, about 55 yards from the beach (28 degrees North)

d) The Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia (USA) at 2400 ft up to 3800 ft elevation depending on the yard (37 degrees North)

No training was required for the bees to adapt to the three very starkly different environments in which these bees thrive.

But, urbanization seems to be distinctly impacting plant evolution before our eyes:
