A swarm of bees settled on the netting behind home plate, so the
Dodgers/Diamondbacks baseball game was delayed.
A beekeeper was called, he collected the swarm, and was invited to throw out
the ceremonial "first pitch", an honor in the USA.
But, it doesn't stop there. Not only will he become a killer trivia
question for future trivia nights at bars nationwide, he will also have his
own baseball card (attached).
Baseball cards are collected and kept for hundreds of years. He will be
remembered long after all the rest of us are long forgotten.
In other swarm news, I was sent the other photo attached - to rescue/collect
this swarm, all one need do is to stop traffic in Manhattan, NYC on Broadway
at 41st St, and use a bucket truck to get it off the stoplight. Child's
Play!
