 I had the pleasure of going to Uganda in 2012, 2015 & 2018>  Besides seeing breastfeeding as normal, I toured hospitals, saw childbirth set-ups from city to rural.  One that really impressed me was moms in labor coming in with their mat rolled on their heads, after delivering they laid their mat out in the hall, cuddled baby with them & stayed until the next day and walked home!  C-sec moms got to stay in a bed.  
I heard from a missionary in rural Mexico that they were doing c-sec much too frequently so the residients could practice on the rural moms!!!We have world wide ways we treat women, sadly.  Pat in SNJ
