Please let me add my condolences. Though I met him only once, we corresponded for over 20 years. Smoke was always enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. His bibliographies were a labor of love and very useful. The field could use more like him.

To All:

Michael "Smoke" Pfeiffer, a member of SHA for many years, passed quietly away on January 20, 2017, from complications of leukemia, in Russellville, AR.

He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
And especially by me, his wife.

Sincerely,

Teri Pfeiffer
