I was only being half serious. My reading of the technique would be to keep the bees in one deep and one medium. Empty the super in July some time and then again in September. Otherwise, do nothing. Except maybe chase swarms, but that isn't work, it's fun. Honestly, sounds perfect for the flow hive crowd, they don't want to do anything but siphon off the honey.
