This refers to using measurements of angles in the wing veins to determine the genetic background of bees (and other insects, too). Sort of like fingerprints. Sort of.

In an upcoming article in the ABJ I write in great detail about the various ways that Africanized bees can be identified: physical, genetic, behavioral, etc.
