Odd, how the bloom times are so different.
Here in Granite Falls (~60 mi. NE of Seattle) our native blackberry (Rubus ursinus) blooms almost exactly in sync with my apple orchard in May. Our invasive Himalayan black berry is about a month later so there CAN be a little overlap.
