Pete,  I had 95% survival in piedmont NC on 150 hives and 85% survival at
3200 feet in the NC mountains.  Much better than normal for me, but I was
vigilant on requeening and mite monitoring last year.  I have very few
beekeeping neighbors too.  I still see some spring dwindling, but much less
since I quit pollination.
