Not sure that is quite true for coconuts. Although they are both wind and insect pollinated, a Google search will find a number of sites showing that bees are considered important pollinators for them. The comparison between the Philippines and Vietnam here http://beephilippines.info/coconut-yields/ shows clearly that crops are greatly increased with good pollination by bees.
