Speaking of location, where are you writing from?

PLB

Peter,
I'm writing from North Central Kansas. It has been an unusually wet August and September here so I suppose that contributes to the mite infestation. I was intrigued by the beetles flying to a dumpster and you could readily see them do so. What I had forgotten was that we had culled several hundred old frames/foundation in that dumpster and the beetles were apparently attracted. There were many thousands on those frames. The operative word is were. I certainly hope we can find some kind of repellent.
