Is anyone participating in the Annual Colony Loss Survey? http://10.selectsurvey.net/beeinformed/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=BIP2016

Why? Why not? I don't keep track of the things BIP wants to know about all that well. So I don't see how what I could add would be of value. Some of you probably do. Do you take note of colony count on a monthly basis? Other things perhaps?

Considering the percentage of beekeepers who don't participate, how can any conclusions be accurate or valid? Probably has something to do with statistical analysis? I wonder the same thing about the USDA/ARS Surveys.
