Hi All, Thanks Gail and Scott for your reply. I live just below the 33rd parallel in west Georgia and our winter has been mild, just a few frosty mornings. I check my bees almost every day and for the past two/three weeks there had been very little activity outside the hives so I thought they were setting down for the winter and it was time to apply the OA treatment. Now I am thinking that I should change their feed from sugar back to sugar water. It's kind of difficult being on the bottom end of the learning curve.
