The problem with these $50 scales is they have a large margin of error.  If they can weigh over 25#, they are not accurate enough for young babies when milk volumes are low.  My recommendation is to keep a watch on ebay.  I had one of these cheaper scales and tried it out - was very unhappy and sent it back.  Check for the margins of error - look for one with margin of 1-2 gms.  There are several manufacturers.  They are not cheap.

I found a good one on Amazon, for around $50.  I also converts to a toddler scale.  They have several on their site if you search infant scales.
