Holly Hill in Anne Arundel County Maryland is an early post-in-the-ground building totally encapsulated in a Georgian mansion.

Subject: ENCASED HOUSES

Hi All,

Two cool projects:
One is an adorable I house peeking out of a massive Victorian.
The other is a tiny vernacular entirely enclosed in a Victorian.
Neither have basements, and their original footprints are in place.

Anyone know of similar structures?

Thanks,
S. Walter
