I don't know about Georgia, but this certainly doesn't happen in California
In most of the areas in GA it would be "possible" but highly unlikely that they were exposed. Most are located in mixed use area, the large majority of which is Timber ground (as a crop) There are however many fields of row crops where exposure is possible, but unlikely for most of the year.
Whats interesting about this claim is it is easily proven or disproven. There are many HUGE tracts of ground that are totally unexposed to any pesticides, Neonics in particular, are those regions producing stellar queens??
A few hours of research and some phone calls could answer that question.
