I do this all the time and never seem to have an issue. Make sure your
water temp is not to hot, I stay at ~125F and never more then 150F and warm
the water up without the bottles in the water. The bottom of the pan gets
much hotter then water temp and will deform the bottles. If you're doing a
lot of bottles and will have to continually reheat the water put in a false
bottom in the pan.
