What has been so different here in SE Nebraska is the fall flow, we just aren't getting one. Randy asked about mite treatment, but my mite numbers are leveled out at 4-6 via sugar shake test. I have used MQS for the past two years right after harvest since I was seeing some absconding with the Thymol trays. We just don't have the harvested wheat fields covered by smartweed which I see as a big part of the problem. I harvested early in July but they had nothing stored by late September so fed and fed syrup but no enough to get them through since it got real cold early and then too many nice weeks where they flew without finding anything.
