The US law protects BF moms if the business has over 50 employees. Not sure how that applies to a corporation from elsewhere. Pat in SNJ

Hi, I have a situation with a mother who is still nursing her child while
she is on tour. The company that she works for has put barriers upon
barriers to stop her from breastfeeding her child, for example, not
providing her with the reasonable space to express her milk or have her
child nurse on the premise when the nanny brings him over. Today she found
out that they will not be renewing her contract for next year because of
her family situation. She is expecting another child.

The entertainment company that she works for is a powerful multi-national
corporation currently on tour in the USA. Has anyone dealt with a situation
like this in the USA? Or know of lega/community resources that can be of
help? She doesn't have the financial means to take on a legal fight. She
resides in Montreal, Canada and has given me permission to post.
