Does your camp offer scholarships that staff would be eligible for?
The United Way in our area offers any child K-5th grades a scholarship at any of the local camps, if they can show a need. A majority of the camps offer scholarships based on free and reduced lunches or income based for home-schooler's.

thanks-that's what I'm currently doing. However, for the folks who work
part-time jobs even the member discount (10%) is tough to swing. Then I had
this new teacher ask me about if her kid is in the same camp, so I just
wanted to get a feel for other opinions.

We don't have enough staff that this is an issue, BUT if we did, we'd
give staff the same discount as members, since staff are members, too.

Thank you for all those who replied to my last summer camp question,
as
usual you've given me a lot to think about.
My new question: What discount if any, do you give to museum staff
members who put their kids in summer camp? Is there a different rate or
discount for those staffing the camps who want to enroll their kids in
the
camps they are teaching?
