Blythe McCarthy of the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery and the NMNH Repatriation Office are working with Bruker Handheld to offer workshops in X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis.


A Forbes Advanced XRF Workshop will be held Tuesday and Wednesday September 10-11, 2013, in the International Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution. The purpose of this free workshop is to provide participants with advanced knowledge of the physics of X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and how to apply this technique to elemental analysis.
