And today, NOAA announced that Earth has just broken 400 ppm CO2, for the
first time in human history.  Given the natural fluctuations, it will
probably dance around the 400 mark for a couple of years, before leaving it
behind on its way to even higher levels.  (And inevitably, some denialists
will crow about falling CO2 levels during its seasonal dip in a few months.)
