What!

That is already the problem in many eastern orchards where dandelions, 
clover, henbit, yellow rocket and other bee-attractive flowers live in the 
understory of orchards, where pollinators are drawn and killed by the 
routine pesticide use intended for the trees, but also falling on the 
understory!

Planting bee-attractive plants among the almonds would be a major disaster.
