Christina, I feel that you misread Bill.  We on the list emphatically
support the lab researchers!  I myself have excellent relationships with
most of the lab researchers worldwide, and communicate with them frequently
to discuss their research and findings.  And then we put their conclusions
through the filter of everyday practical experience with living (or dying)
bee colonies in the field.
