Awesome Goshawk footage!

And in more raptor video - not in super-slo-mo, but taken from a webcam
on a nest in the wild, there's this:
http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/30332727/highlight/334419

Warning: lethal bird-on-bird violence.

One birder looked at it frame by frame at the start and analyzed things
thusly:

"Looks like an immature Red-tailed attacked the nest without realizing
the danger. If you watch carefully when the Eagle raises up and spreads
its wings at the moment of impact, it appears the Hawk is trying to
abort the hit as it sees the size of the Eagle. The Eagle makes very
short work of what may have been a very hungry and possibly weakened
young Hawk."

Don't mess with mama when she's bigger than you,

Fascinating even though the hawk is not hunting prey,
