Hi,

I use survey monkey surveys all of the time- for pre/post  assessments,
feed back, applications to participate etc.  I pay for the next level up
from "free".   I usually download the data into excel and do my statistics
there.  But survey monkey does produce a nice summary with bar graphs or
pie charts. Sometimes that's all you need.

The only drawback is in the application use case. The spreadsheet you down
load requires significant rearrangement.
