No pay wall here.  An interesting research story about the shrinking Tibetan Plateau glaciers.  The contraction or expansion of Himalayan glaciers has been a source of scientific discrepancy over the past few years.  Shrinking or expanding, warming or cooling.  Some intrepid souls measured them with boots on the ground.  They're mostly shrinking and rapidly and it has to do with the changing climatic regime.
