Just tossing this out there to land in the archives in case anybody looks
later :)  I have discovered personally that not only is there a strong
connection between gut health and mood, which we all know, but also that
good gut flora can make a big difference in how efficiently/effectively a
mom converts T4 to T3, which means if you counsel a nursing mom about gut
flora and she has thyroid issues, there is more to think about.  Personally
I'm going to have to step down my thyroid replacement, because my gut is
suddenly doing a much better job, and it's a wild feeling.
