Dear All,

This is perhaps slightly off-topic but can anyone suggest a paper or source
of reliable information on the arrival of domestic cats in Britain?
It's my understanding that they came with the Romans and were put to work
tackling rodents who attacked the grain stores of the Legions.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Ian
