Some of the locals are talking about using Amitraz for mites this fall. Though not currently approved, it was formerly marketed as "Maverik" in the U.S.  I understand Amitraz is approved for use in Canada.
 
What's the history on why it was yanked from the approved status for use in the U.S.?
