Quoting the current Womanly Art of Breastfeeding:  "You don't need more fluids than you want in order to make milk, and your supply won't decrease if you're mildly dehyderated. If your urine is medium to pale yellow, then you're doing fine."

By the way, I grow to love this WAB more and more- it is my go-to book when I want a short and sweet but thoroughly accurate answer for a mom!  Thanks, Diane, Diana and Teresa!
