I am sure this has been on the list but I would like to get a fresh
perspective. And if those who can share, contact me off line. I am needing
some guidance with insurance. I am in the US. I have approached an OBGYN's
office who is interested in supporting me as their office IBCLC. I am not
an RN. I am hoping to do home visits for all their patients and get
insurance reimbursements. Of course it would be their office billing under
their licence. I know there are RN's in hospitals and peds offices doing
this and getting reimbursements but are non RN's doing this and any home
visits getting reimbursements and how is this being done? And how much are
usually the costs and what is the etiquette? Does the office take a cut off
my fees? Can anyone help me? I would really appreciate any help with this.
Thank you so much!!
