I'm not at home so can't check my bookshelf, but I think it was Ann Sinnott (?) who wrote a book about nursing older children, and my kids each have quotes in there, as do lots of other kids. (The frappuccino one is my son!). I'd recommend the book to anyone who is open to the idea of kids nursing past toddlerhood. I don't think it's a book I'd offer to someone in order to convince them, though, because it might be too much in one package.
My son is very proud of how long he nursed and the obvious effects he considers it to have on his health, but at the same time he has to navigate the messages of society and even his peers to the contrary.
