Allen, I couldn't have said it better myself! Rather than oversimplifying
the neonic debate into a black or white situation, I see it as one that
calls for rational fine tuning.
All pesticides are vastly overused. I feel that we can better spend our
energies in promoting successful strategies for integrated pest management
in agriculture, rather than that of farmers following of the current
paradigm of calendar or unwarranted risk-management applications of
pesticides.
