Hello Lisa -
We've are involving a few military bases and their education programs in our Mastodon Matrix citizen science project. The project teaches how scientists know what they know about the past as well as the process of science, and contributes to the creation of a pleistocene reference collection here at PRI. We didn't seek that demographic, but were contacted by educators asking to be involved based on our listing on scienceforcitizens.com. I would be happy to share data we receive from evaluations, or other information if you are interested. I love the idea of reaching these folks through citizen science.
Cheers -
