Hi
The number of hives is not the most relevant factor in this context,
beekeepers will strive to make up lost numbers or make increase according
to economic and environmental pressures. It is stated by beekeepers across
the world is that just keeping bees alive is far more difficult than it
ever was, The question is what are the factors leading to this.

Sorting out fact from cover up is difficult for the beekeeper with a
polarised argument, both sides selecting data that suits their view.
