Wait just a minute. AHB were not "found" in Tennessee. Someone bought them and brought them in from an "out-of-state dealer."
Before we get all worked up thinking they somehow migrated and are surviving in chilly Tennessee, let's track the source. For all intensive purposes, these bees could have been "found" anywhere in the USA if beekeepers are buying them and moving them to points further north than their normal location.
