Hello All,

Its amazing the time it takes for research to catch up with what commercial
beekeepers see and report.

When I wrote the article for the American Bee Journal "The Neonicotinoids
More Questions Than Answers" (requested by some of the largest U.S.
beekeepers) the article caused an uproar.
Bees do not even work corn pollen Paul C. and Brian Ames said on BEE-L.
No proof others said.

I believe no. 17 in the 2012 proceedings *helps* to vindicate those of us
which
were seeing problems which could only be related to hives placed next to
large corn acreage.

Back then researchers were afraid to even research a chemical giants
product. Even today in the no. 17 study ( Assessing the routes and levels of
exposer to honey bees to neonicotinoid seed treatments in the Midwest) the
maker is not named ( nor were they in my ABJ article).

I said back then when a few on the list were trying to *nail me to a cross*
for my hypothesis I would
bring the subject back up in future years when new research backed my
hypothesis neonicotinoid seed treatments used on corn were causing problems
with bees in the Midwest.
