> In a high end spinner/spinfloat (continuous type that does not rely
on screen, perforated drum or baskets of cappings), do the pollen grains
tend to end up in the honey or wax output?
Not that I am aware of, and I'm sure I'd hear if pollen was a problem.
Pat at Cook and Beals could tell you.

U.S. Patent #: 3217979
Canadian Patent #: 723027
> In the case of the Maxant 7000, the incoming slurry drops into the
spinning 'donut' in the honey zone. Bits of wax migrate inward to the
wax zone. Clean honey is drawn off from the bottom outside edge of the
spinning drum. My hope is that virtually all of the pollen grains exit
with the honey.
I think the spin=float draws from the outside, too, after the honey
flows over several radial baffles. Just guessing, can't find the diagram.
