I hear you, Amy! Just because we got rid of our nursery doesn't mean
we managed to change the attitudes of all the staff overnight. It's a
never-ending task, I can safely say, twenty years down the road. One
of the few drawbacks of the low turnover on our ward :-(
Really makes you think of how powerful the existing institutional
culture is, when it's easier to re-build a facility from the ground up
than to change procedures.
