ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hello!

I work at a design firm out of Providence, RI that is working on an
exhibition for a science museum in the UK.
The exhibition is centered around connecting physical exhibits to the
internet, and one of them involves viewing 360-degree live streaming
video through a physical interface.

Finding locations that provide interesting views 24/7 and in 360
degrees is challenging, especially because we need places that have at
least a decent internet connection to start with.

Our client has suggested thinking about other museums or educational
institutions that might be interested in participating. We need to
avoid close-up imagery of people for privacy reasons (and in case of
moderation issues), but are fairly open otherwise. Animals, creatures,
big things, small things, etc. - we're looking for places that will
have a decent amount of movement and activity, and be interesting (or
at least lit well) for the majority of 24 hours per day. This feed
would be available on the internet as well, so the 24/7 aspect is
important.

Right now we're just soliciting general interest in the project as we
have plenty of details to work out on our end, but if (a) you're
interested in having the live feed come from your institution, or (b)
you have any ideas about where a great institution for the camera
would be, I would love to get an e-mail from you.

Thank you ahead of time,
Best,
Katie
