Sci-Port is evaluating our check-in process and how we identify general
visitors from members from birthday guests, etc.  We're looking to save
money, storage space, time in the check-in line, etc.  We currently use
colored wristbands.  Members wear red.  Birthday guests wear silver/gray.
We rotate through a handful of different colors for general visitors, using
only one color each day.  We don't always band school groups because most
wear uniforms/matching shirts and it's unlikely (and unfortunate) that we'll
get a group of unattended children sneaking into our science center to learn
during school hours without paying. 

 

Please share with us the following: 

Do you use armbands, stickers, stamps or something else?  Why? 

Do you identify members differently?  Birthday guests?  Schools? 

Anything else worth sharing?
