ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Bill,

We pay our Youth Teaching Youth students $7-$8/hour for their work in intern
roles. Their time commitment varies based on the internship they are
working in. Some are project based and shorter term while others may span
the school year. Most work in these roles for up to four years.

One of the items you may want to remember to calculate in an expansion mode
is what increase does that, if any, put on time for training and mentoring?
We pay for training and provide mentoring support which is a cost center for
us, however, it is an essential part of the success of our youth program.

Madlyn
