the exhibition about flight at the air and space museum in san diego had a set up with two hard foam wings into which you could insert your arms and stand in front of a bank of fans.  It wasn't nearly as much fun as driving at about 60 mph with your hand out the window and turning your hand this way and that, which beguiled many a long drive with my parents years ago.  Such a cool feeling...
