that we've always had to deal with "not enough" milk and now days we see a whole group of symptoms around oversupply!  Who would have ever thought we'd see the day!  

Personally, in practice, I've found that a 6 hour block to start works well, with minimal amount of hand expressing to keep unused side comfortable.  It is the overful-unused side that signals the brain to slow down production.
