You might be interested in talking with the Science Leadership Academy folks in Phila. Though not exactly what you're asking about, the school runs in partnership with The Franklin Institute and is a great example of museum-school collaboration.

Chris Lehmann, Principal of SLA, would be great to talk with or might refer you to someone at the Institute.
