I'm reading a report of a church site in Arkansas which some foodways is
mentioned, however, based on what was at the site food was only temporary in
service as there was not kitchen or prep area on site or came from the
military presence at the church which at various times 1861-1865 served as a
camp and hospital for both sides of the war.

Book review of this will be in an upcoming Southeastern Archaeology
Conference publication.
